Olaveil App Privacy Policy

How the Olaveil companion app may process account, device, wellness, location and diagnostic information.

Olaveil App Privacy PolicyBrand: QINOEffective: June 11, 2026Last revised: August 29, 2026
APP verification required

This disclosure draft is based on the functions and SDK inventory supplied by QINO; it is not evidence that every listed SDK or permission is active in every build. Before public release, the Android/iOS permission prompts, SDK versions, server locations, retention behaviour and deletion routes must be tested against the released app.

Olaveil is the companion application operated by Shenzhen Qingnuo Shiji Technology Co., Ltd. under the QINO brand. This notice explains how Olaveil and connected wearable functions process personal and health-related information.

1. Data controller and scope

Shenzhen Qingnuo Shiji Technology Co., Ltd. (“QINO”, “Olaveil”, “we”) is responsible for personal information processed through the Olaveil app and connected QINO-compatible devices, except where an identified third-party provider acts independently.

2. Sensitive health and location information

Depending on the connected device and features you choose, Olaveil may process wellness and physiological information such as activity, sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, blood-oxygen trends, temperature trends, cycle information and profile details used to present those trends. Health information, precise location, movement routes and information about children may be sensitive personal information. They are used only for the selected feature and require separate or explicit consent where applicable law requires it. Olaveil is a general-wellness service and is not presented as a medical, diagnostic or treatment service.

3. Information we collect

  • Account and profile: name, email address, user ID, password credentials or tokens, gender, age, height, weight and profile image when supplied.
  • Connected-device and wellness data: device identifier, connection status, battery status and supported activity, sleep and physiological trend data generated by the connected device.
  • Exercise and location: route, location, movement and weather-related information only when you enable a feature that needs location permission.
  • Technical diagnostics: app version, operating system, device model, Android ID or comparable identifiers, crash logs, performance data and network/device identifiers such as MAC address where technically available.
  • Support and communications: information you provide when contacting support or submitting feedback.

4. Device permissions

Phone and call permissions

READ_CALL_LOG or comparable permissions may be requested only for supported wearable call, missed-call and caller-name notifications. Olaveil does not use call-log content for advertising.

Location permissions

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION may be requested for exercise routes, maps, weather or Bluetooth functions that require location under the operating system. You can deny or later revoke access, but those features may not work.

Camera and media permissions

Camera or photo-library access may be requested when you take or choose a profile image or use a supported remote-camera function. Olaveil does not activate the camera for unrelated purposes.

Package visibility

Where Android permits, the app may check whether WeChat or QQ is installed solely to offer the relevant login or sharing path. It should not use the wider installed-app list for unrelated profiling.

6. How information is used

We use information to create and secure an account, connect and support devices, display the wellness and activity features you select, provide maps or weather, diagnose crashes, answer support requests, prevent abuse and comply with law. We do not use health information for third-party targeted advertising or sell personal information.

7. Sharing

Information may be disclosed to the SDK and infrastructure providers above only for their stated functions, to customer-support and security providers acting for us, or to authorities when lawfully required. Enabling a third-party login, map or payment option directs information to that provider under its own policy.

8. Retention and account deletion

Account and connected-device data should be kept only while needed to provide Olaveil and for any additional period required for security, disputes or law. Users may submit a deletion request by emailing us. An in-app deletion route will be described here only after it is verified in the released Android and iOS builds. We will verify the requester and respond within the period required by applicable law; data within the approved request scope will be deleted or anonymised except for limited legal or security records and temporary protected backups. The exact retention periods, backup cycle and handling of guest data must be confirmed against the production system before commercial app release.

9. International processing

Olaveil and its SDK providers may process information in China and in other provider locations. Where a restricted transfer requires disclosure, safeguards or separate consent, those steps must be completed before the transfer.

10. Your controls and rights

You can control optional permissions in the phone settings, disconnect a device, stop using an optional SDK feature, withdraw consent where applicable, and request access, correction, deletion or other rights available in your region. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may disable the affected feature.

11. Children

Olaveil is not intended for children who cannot legally consent to the processing. In China, personal information of children under 14 is sensitive personal information and requires guardian authorisation and additional protection.

12. Changes and contact

Material changes will be identified by a revised date and accompanied by additional notice or consent where required. Privacy or deletion requests can be sent to qino6217@gmail.com. Developer/operator: Shenzhen Qingnuo Shiji Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China.
